Defending a Sucker Punch When Walking Away (Orange Belt)

You could seemingly de-escalate a situation and begin to move away from the would-be aggressor when s/he suddenly decides, despite your best efforts to de-conflict, to attack you with a punch.  You best option, because of your positioning, is to deliver a debilitating sidekick to the attacker’s proximate knee or, perhaps, the midsection targeting the ribs or liver if s/he presents the right side to you.  You may also use 360 Outside and L Parry Inside Defenses followed by an immediate counter-attack.
